It is about understanding people — and building awareness about how our products/services can satisfy their needs. We’re looking for an experienced and versatile sales and marketing manager who is hungry to do this and more. Our ideal candidate has experience and in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals, executing marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a sales team. He/she will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing & sales activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines, changing needs and would create and maintain a high-performance sales force. Responsibilities

  • Working in partnership with the creative team, develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-¬facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
  • Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing additional sales support
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking, analysis, optimizing and communicating key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to customer relationships
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends global reach
  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
  • Recruit sales people, set objectives, train and coach, and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them
  • Oversee the sales and marketing team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with team to set objectives for the day and monitor progress regularly
  • Meet sales targets and increase revenue every quarter
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven study and experience in sales/marketing or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Proven experience developing sales plans and executing the plans
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven sales mind with eye for creativity
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
  • Proven experience designing interactive applications and networking platforms
  • Flexibility to manage other roles temporarily especially when a team member is either off work or on leave.
  • Willingness and ability to work in Akure, Ondo state and relocate if currently living outside the city.
